Suitable Surfaces | Arc Resin Floors

Suitable Surfaces

Flooring

  • Concrete
  • Screed (Anhydrite screeds will require special preparation measures)
  • Wood floors (over-boarding with cement boards or sheeted with plywood)
  • Levelling compounds (minimum 35Nmm2 strength)
  • Over tiles (please speak to a member of our team for a quote)

For a successful flooring system, correct floor preparation needs to be carried out. Failure in the subfloor will result in potential failures with the resin. Resin flooring systems are a thin (3-5mm) decorative coating and are designed as the final finish of a floor. They are not designed to level or rid any undulations with the subfloor. If floors are unlevel and / or undulations exist these are likely to be present in the final finish.

Worktops

Suitable worktops:

  • Any new or existing worktop providing a key is provided
  • Granite worktops require diamond grinding prior to install

WARNING: Resin will not reach full cure / strength with temperatures below 5°C.

During the curing phase sealers are more vulnerable to UV light exposure, scratching and damage.
